More grunge: tasty tie dye

can't beat this little blue / green / purple tie dye tee for boho charm as a layering piece...
this one looks like a lovely blue lagoon...
definitely mood indigo and mint!
and nothing beats a cute blue tie dye...
shibori style...
and this is shades of mauve and inky blues... Love 'em!

More monochrome

loving this chiffon windowpane shirt with hidden panel buttons that can be worn buttoned up or loose...
and these windowpane monochrome pants are too adorable!
topped off with this marled black and white shawl collar open cardigan for that salt and pepper look - love it!
I also love this marled black / white tunic, which would be great with black, grey or white skinny jeans...
even this heather grey tunic is pretty sharp looking -- awesome and timeless!
and these Superga grey hightops / high top sneakers...

Grunge find: 90s black & white plaid jumper dress

more monochrome black and white grunge plaid -- this time a v-neck jumper / pinafore dress...
best part, the waist can be adjusted on the back for a more flattering fit...

90's throwback: black and white plaid grunge skirt

In keeping with the monochrome trend -- nothing too glam -- just a simple little black and white plaid skirt with pockets to slouch around in or go thrifting...
I'm wondering if it would be naughty of me not to iron this for the full 90s "grunge" effect...
I think it would be perfect with a black lace top
maybe this little floral crop top...
maybe this cocoa brown, ivory and black rose choker necklace...

a black and white striped tank top...
 and striped camisole...
 a slinky striped tank top...
this pale blush pink cropped sweatshirt for a neutral pastel pairing...
or even this slinky red, pink, black and white floral cap sleeve top for a bit of colour...
this red roses choker necklace...
this red roses bandana...
and these red roses socks...
GAP black jelly fisherman sandals
these burgundy oxford shoes...
these pretty pink converse sneakers...
and this white caged bootie.

Spring has almost sprung

as I'm seeing Spring blossoms bloom around me, I'm thinking of pretty floral things...
like this lovely pastel floral sheath, which reminds me of fin de ciecle dresses...
the most amazing part is that it is fully reversible and has smaller flowers on the reverse. Just needs to be teamed with a pretty batwing crochet shrug and it's like Enchanted April -- almost there...

Loving: plaid dusters

love this linen red, black and white oversized duster...
this lovely black and white plaid duster dress
and this really cute oversized monochrome black and white buffalo plaid...

Found: windowpane shirt

with so many bloggers out there sporting their cute little black and white windowpane patterned / grid checks / plaid / tartan clothing -- which, by the way is all the rage, along with the "monochrome" trend -- I realized I didn't possess even one such item in this genre! So here goes, a cute little polo shirt that can be worn with a shrug or cardi to fem it up. Best part -- it's under $10 -- shipping included and it should last me the season or at least until the trend is over. Even if it has "boy" written all over it -- a shirt's a shirt's a shirt!
I would team it with this fitted black and white striped pencil skirt...
might even add this white moto vest...
and these white caged gladiator booties...
or these black gladiator sandals...
GAP black jelly fisherman sandals
I also like the more feminine cut of this little black polo shirt for women...
only a couple of bucks each, so I got the white one too!

Loving: plaid muumuus

okay, so this looks like a muumuu or house coat but team it with a cute belt and the right shoes and you're ready to boogie!
I see it with this fuchsia / lipstick / neon hot pink messenger bag...
and this playful pink jelly shoes...
and with a fuchsia pink belt...
or a silver leather belt... And not to forget fuchsia lipstick!
and even this cute little heart sweater would be perfect for layering and to add warmth and texture...
and topped off with a lipstick pink / fuchsia coat -- I know, it may be a little for all this layering but the dress seems to be a versatile piece...
