Crushing: red and pink peony print

loving the cheerfulness of this peony print red dress...
and such unusual sides...
doesn't look bad from the back...
but it has pockets and hopefully it drapes well...
this particular peony print has pink, purple, turquoise and yellow. peonies..
and these red and pink peony fitted pants...
this polka dot bangle would team well...
almost as fresh as the real thing...

Styling oversized jumper dresses

What to do with an oversized jumper dress, like this navy knit mock turtleneck dress?
looks great dressed down with skinny jeans...
these Superga grey hightops / high top sneakers...
but I also see it with navy plaid pants...
these Midnight Magic glitterpuss shoes...
these maroon / burgundy / wine hightops / high top sneakers...
or maybe green plaid cropped pants...
or these navy pinstriped pants...
or these slate blue pinstripe pants...

spotted blue and white jeans...
or even these orchid print pants...
but they would also look cute with a navy blue floral chiffon skirt...
just like this chic ensemble...

Swilling cognac

loving the rich caramel hue of this cognac cardigan...
 unfortunately, no pockets...
this amber roses necklace picks up the warm tones of the cardi...
Horsey scarf
Plaid sunglasses
Italian autumnal scarf
Leopard scrolls scarf
this burnt orange corduroy skirt is a great match!
these leather basketweave oxford shoes...
these orange sunglasses...
definitely a leopard scoopneck top...

would team well with these black culottes gaucho pants...
black peeptoe booties
these leopard culottes...
and even at the risk of looking too matchy-matchy these suede culottes...
taupe chelsea boots...
This cognac striped jersey dress outfit...
And these leopard 🐆 chukka boots

Back to school

loving the crispness of this ivory / cream and black varsity cardigan...
and I love the cuff titles on the sleeves...
would look cute with a black pleated skirt...
and definitely these black and cream wingtips...

Pewter Age

loving the Deco charm of this sleek quilted pewter / champagne satin bomber jacket...
and the slash pockets are great - no not all jackets have pockets...
and I actually like that it's got no zippers on the sleeves...

Style Inspo: Lauren Hutton in cocoa dress

I came across this photo of Lauren Hutton in her cocoa brown knit dress and toasty brown lipstick while looking up Ciara perfume by Revlon, a fragrance I distinctly remember from the mid-70s when my mother bought it with some Ultima II makeup in Melbourne, Australia...
and here's the sepiatone magazine ad that came out in 1977...
luckily I already have this cocoa brown cowl neck knit dress dress...
even this sof knit cappuccino dress...
changing beverages now, this heather wine dress...
but then these retro cool cranberry red sunglasses...

and I think the wine red dress would team well with these blue oxford shoes...
and this black sweater dress would be practical too...
very cool with a trench coat...
and the knit dress would look great with a harness...
and I can see it with these very mod snakeskin booties / ankle boots...
like this one in her grey knit dress...
maybe this tigereye Buddha ring
and this smouldering cocoa brown frost Wet n Wild Cashmere lipstick
or Wet n Wild Mocha-licious 914C...
and of course, Ciara perfume by Revlon, that was apparently named using initials C and R from the name Charles Revson... Is that the huntress and moon goddess Diana on the pretty saffron and gold packaging? And I love the oxblood / deep red writing on the bottle too. How reminiscent of Etruscan frescoes and Ancient Rome. Any fragrance that has the notes myrrh, incense, leather, musk, vanilla and woods like Brazilian Rosewood and Cedar has to be perfect for autumn and winter!
an ancient Roman fresco of goddess Diana on the hunt, wielding her bow and arrow...
of course, this golddenrod saffron pleated slip dress would be perfect with Ciara...
and I would team it with this mustard / saffron yellow waterfall cardigan...
