Rod Stewart's Amazing Style

Rod Stewart has an amazing sense of style and colour, in my opinion, but don't take my words for it, let the pics speak for themselves...

gorgeous glittery red jacket...looking very much like Sulla here!
red suit...
a scrolly teal floral pattern...ooh, I have a vest like this!
grey velvet jacket..yes!
teal shirt is yummy...
he does like a pale silvery grey...
soft blues and stripes...
here with his CBE award in blue stripes
looking adorable in pink satin...
and buttery yellow never looked better! love the daisies... grey and purple satiny stripes...yum!
purples paired perfectly!
oranges and corals...
leopard jacket and polka dots...and on him they work!
adore him in zebra stripes!
so many shades of brown, patterns and textures...
a pale pearl grey linen jacket with crisp white shirt and pants...
yes, he's not shy of colour and he's in touch with his artistic and feminine sides...very sensual and incredibly sexy! Rock on, Rod!

Sulla is Rod?

Sulla was given the suffix "Felix" which means "Fortunate," or in other words "Lucky" and here's Rod Stewart's album "Some Guys Have All the Luck." Is that just merely coincedental?
Could Lucius Cornelius Sulla have actually reincarnated as the singer Rod Stewart?

Rod/Sulla...one merging into the other...
Rod Stewart's message of PEACE, wearing a red poppy on Armistice Day...
Hmmm...what's he thinking? I think he's saying: go on...take a look...take a good, long, hard look...it's undeniable...there is a remarkable resemblance between Sulla and me..." I couldn't agree more, Mr Stewart!
Personality-wise you're both very sensual and have an incredible sex appeal... yes, what a fulfilling reincarnation...I think you have it really, really good...and this time around you got it right!
First cut is the deepest...a lovely song by Rod Stewart...youtube it dahlings...and enjoy!
It's useless what you think guys, I see it... I think Ms Colleen McCullough, who wrote the Masters of Rome series, would approve! And who knows, perhaps Rod might approve himself...

Autumnal Colours Jumper

The yummy Rod Stewart has it right with these autumnal stripes...
Front and Back views of the jumper...
I created this jumper / sweater based on the autumnal colours in this landscape which I find magical!

Unfortunately I did not have the wonderful chartreuse green featured in this colourful autumnal landscape but made do with what I already had...And the result is quite similar. So not too bad...

I've Become a Knitwit!

So I'm literally hooked on knitting...seriously... Here are some more of my creations...

Nautical Stripes Jumper

Native American Stripes Jumper

Tibetan Stripes Jumper - just like Tibetan fabric!

Indo Gabbe Rug Jumper- animal stripes in khaki / yellow / black / brown.
Oceanic Stripes Jumper - blues / yellows / greens...

Sicilian Cassata Jumper

Provence Jumper - blue / lavender / purple / black / yellow / white / green
Autumnal Harvest Jumper - charcoal striped sweater with autumnal stripes...
Serape Cardigan - pinks / greens / crimson stripes - OK, I went a little WILD here...

Oriental Rug Vest - jewel tones
can be worn as a v-neck or square-neck vest by changing sides...
Rainbow Stripes Vest
one side is as wild as the other! hehe... ;-D

So I'm working on my next one, I think I'll keep it on the tame side...don't wanna be too loud, what with people's delicate sensibilities and all...don't wanna alarm them too much...as it is, folks are way too stressed and paranoid these days...

I have hand-knitted solid color ones too...
 like this pistachio cropped cardi...
 so I added some bling...
a lot of sewing...
this jonquil yellow cropped sweater, which was my first sweater...
and this peach / coral sweater, which is soooo yummy!
and this 2016 addition, my little lilac jumper / sweater...

Michelin Man Jumper No More!

Okay, so I took a really good, long, hard look at my first attempt EVER at making a knitted garment... Hmmm...Hmmm...but every time I looked at it, I couldn't help but think of the Michelin (Tire)Man...
you know all those horizontal tires that really don't need to be there?
So, YES, I unravelled the whole thing and knitted it AGAIN, into the plain and simple V-necked jumper that I felt would be more figure flattering, though I admit it lacks imagination but I promised myself that noone would EVER think of the Michelin (Tire)Man if they saw this one!
DONE!!! I'm feeling soooooo much better! :-)
