 and from the back the Hispano-Suiza looks like the ultimate Bat Mobile

and a perfect match is this metallic pewter / platinum crinkle pleated skirt...

silver with a touch of gold, that has plenty of shimmery drama and retro style...

with its delicate micro pleat, it looks like it's a plissé lamé skirt from the 1930s

so tempted to team it with this little pewter moto jacket...

Going platinum!

Having considered the many options for silvery-white metals, I am tempted to unimaginatively just call this very pale pleated metallic skirt silver but I think it won't sound half as glamourous as platinum! But I've been down this road before and once you go metallic, you only want more... This one glows white-hot like magnesium!

I also adore the micro pleat on this little number...

and the sporty chic platinum / silver, black and white waistband...

so that it also looks great dressed down with a pair of sneakers...

would definitely wear it with a polka dot varsity / bomber jacket...

Crazy bargains: Hammond's Pigs N Taters chocolate

 

So I've always wanted to try bacon chocolate, ever since I heard Kitchen Goddess Nigella Lawson swoon over it on TV. My patience was finally rewarded...

Turns out that as luck would have it, I came across this Hammond's Pigs N Taters milk chocolate bar from Colorado, which normally retails for $3, deeply discounted for 50cents and I just could not pass up the opportunity! So what does it taste like? Smoky creamy sweet milk chocolate that has a salty crunch in a symphony of unusual flavors for a candy bar! All that's missing is perhaps a spicy cayenne kick...
