Ever since I saw the Chanel Havana show, I've been toying with the idea of what to embellish a black sequin beret with... The first choice undoubtedly would be a chic oversized vintage rhinestone brooch...

like this one from the 1980s featuring clear and red stones. But anything really would do.

Berets and Fedoras

I totally love the idea of black sequined berets, as featured in the Chanel Cruise 2016/17 collection that was just featured on the runway in Havana, Cuba...

kind of a take on the black beret worn by Che Guevara although Coco Chanel did like her berets too...

utility shirts with pockets were everywhere!

including chambray blue...

and lots of belts...

this beret even has a white star just like that worn by Che. And lots of striped knits...
