Snowballs!

There’s something so provocative – in a foodporn way – about these big, fluffy, deliciously pink snowballs.  Bodacious coconut covered pink orbs with a marshmallow coating and cream-filled chocolate cake center…  So plump and slippery that they have to be flipped upside-down or the interior falls out as you bite into them.  And – they must definitely be eaten over a plate!  Even with my sweet tooth, one is usually enough.  Somehow, when I look at them, I’m not thinking “snowballs.”

Thinking of orchids, bougainvilleas and bananas

 

can't help but think of orchids or bougainvillea when I see this magenta / deep pink lace dress.

the lace on the dress is actually little flowers similar in shape to these orchids...

and here it looks like it took a trip to the photographer's studio...

 the dress also reminds me of gorgeous purple bougainvillea in a tropical setting...

the label says "Vishes*Vishes*Vishes" - no, those are supposed to be W's actually...

Found: Lace LBD at last!

This is not the best picture but I finally got a little black lace dress with elbow length see-through sleeves and a pretty scoop neck.  And it was much cheaper than I was expecting at a local discount department store!  This one is by Annabelle USA, who have the cutest tag!  Looks much better on...

and it can be turned up a notch with these studded triple buckle ankle booties...

Betty Boop Sexy fragrance has her sitting on a cake, dresses in a little red dress, while the scent is all about persimmon, pomegranate, dark plum, lotus flower, black orchid, red rose, patchouli, amber crystal, sandalwood, vanilla and skin musk.  Sounds simply gorgeous!

Party on!  Betty Boop Party fragrance that promises a blend of bergamot, grapefruit and mandarin orange in its top notes, a heart of star jasmine, magnolia and orchid and sheer woods and musk at its base.  Ms Boop like I've never seen her...

Caribbean Joe For Her is so tiki!

 

the bamboo shaped bottle of Caribbean Joe For Her totally appeals to my sense of tiki!  What does it smell like?  I believe it's all about ruby red grapefruit, mandarin orange, lemon blossom, pink osmanthus, sunset hibiscus, juicy nectarine, creamy sandalwood, orris and musk...  Hmmm... Could be quite tasty!

and here it is a medium grey...

There's something quite terrific about that grey trench coat that Audrey Tautou wore as a Parisian detective in the film adaptation of author Dan Brown's novel The Da Vinci Code, starring opposite Tom Hanks as shown in these shots.  Very stylish indeed!

I even love the schoolgirl simplicity of her navy blue skirt, simple buttondown white shirt and black cardigan - very classic!  Jean Reno at far right is fun to watch as well, as is Tom Hanks - all great actors.

okay, I searched high and low for a grey trench coat like the one on Ms Tautou but realized that this dark taupe London Fog trench coat that I had scored for around $4.50 was close enough for its gumshoe appeal.  It's pretty awesome to shop your own closet...

 so after three years of searching, I've found this little grey trench coat...

 love the flap over the back!
