in 1957 Christian Dior did a remake of the 1947 Bar Suit with a less-voluminous pleated black skirt and flouncier ivory jacket with a notched collar and one less button...
In 1947 Renée Breton wore the Christian Dior Bar Suit with an inverted bowl hat, black gloves and ivory pumps...
to commemorate the look, I shopped my closet to resurrect this silky ivory cropped jacket...
that may not be an exact match for either jacket but comes close enough!
