Another online purchase disaster corrected

So, a really organic looking mustard green dress bought online turned out to be a foot too tight in the torso and a different colour! I can live with this jonquil yellow shade - not bad, so, I decided to rework it...
by taking off the sleeves and adding oval panels to the sides...
the lining to the dress is quite transparent and well above the knee, so one could team it with these white linen pants, which would also add more layering, in a lagenlook way...
needed a colourful necklace so I teamed it with this mixed gem garland...
but this faux amber necklace would team well too!
these blonde tortoiseshell sunglasses...
and even these amber frame sunglasses...
with the wide arms that help to make them look so retro...
and this beige floral scarf would team well...
as would these yellow berkies...
or these grey floral sneakers...
but then to be teamed with these grey skinny jeans...

Helena Bonham Carter chanelling Frida Kahlo?

with flowers in her hair much like the famed artist Frida Kahlo, Helena Bonham Carter was traipsing around London in her saffron / custard yellow tiered skirt with tulle overlay. She teamed the outfit with a black lace camisole and black cardigan despite the summer heat! Love that retro tan crossbody bag too...
Helena Bonham Carter wore the same skirt earlier this year in Italy, as she is seen going grocery shopping with her male friend. I totally love her fearless and fierce style!
I also like this rose print dress on her!
and I just want to add these oilcloth floral shoes to HBC's outfit...
they go with the flowers in her hair?

how about this yellow eyelet skirt...
this floral tank for an Oktoberfest look
Yellow floral dirndl tank top
this H&M black crinkle camisole top
this mustard / saffron yellow waterfall cardigan...
and this black lace top...
this amber roses necklace
a coral bakelite bangle...
mahjong bracelet...

topped off with something like this rustic looking yellow jasper nugget strand...
and this saffron yellow hued amber necklace...
and these blonde tortoiseshell sunglasses...
or even these retro amber frame sunglasses...
with the broad arms that help to make them look so vintage...
cognac bag with lace edges and cutouts...

Hot Stuff!

so I've got hot and spicy on my mind...
I love the hot chilli pepper deep coral red of this bat-wing duster cardigan...
that drapes quite nicely past the knees...
and I think it would look great with this mint and coral rose scarf...
these gingery coral mules...
these rose gold and coral floral sandals...
 this bright cayenne red tee...
this spicy hot mustard tee...
to mix it up, this bright saffron tee...
and this saffron scarf...
 perhaps this saffron camisole...
and these embroidered and beaded mules...
this saffron hued amber necklace...
maybe this coral red roses necklace...
or this amber roses necklace...
this coral bakelite bangle...
Coral bangle
Came across this unusual pearl and coral pendant. Wow! I am speechless...

Jonquil Jumper

OK, so this is my very first ANYTHING that I've knitted! I wanted a saffron yellow sweater and voila! - I KNITTED one!!! The previous day I had received my very first instruction on how to knit...so I must be forgiven for this first attempt's shortcomings... ;-D
It took one week to complete...not bad for a first go...I think... But then again, I just might unravel it and make it V-necked, now that I've taught myself how to make that through trial and error! More knitted items coming soon...
The precise shade / hue is called Jonquil, but I like to think it's a lovely saffron yellow. And I think it would go well with this amber necklace...
it's proving to be more versatile than I thought...
 these blonde tortoiseshell sunglasses...
these cranberry red sunglasses would team well too!
