Outfit Inspo: crushed lilac velvet dress

adore the pinkish lavender / lilac hue of this crushed velvet babydoll dress...
and I like the way its cuteness has been balanced with Doc Martens and denim...
loving all things lilac, naturally, I was drawn to this crushed velvet lilac dress...
it's extremely short length allows it to be worn as a tunic top...
the velvet has a liquidy white sheen to it...
so off-white jeans to the rescue!
and to be topped off with this embroidered denim jacket that has some lilac in it...
love the satin applique and beading too...
this purple enamel flower brooch, pinned on the right side of the jacket on the double stitching...
these Miista purple holographic shoes...
these really gnarly mauve velvet sneakers...
that are really creepers
 lavender sneakers...
maybe these lilac / lavender jelly sandals...
this quilted pale mauve / lilac bag...
would this lilac hair barrett be too cutesy?
but definitely a mauve marbled hair barrette...
or even this cute black marble hairclip...
that looks like a jellyfish or UFO...
but I love the lilac and olive green marbling which looks so vintage!
Of course, lilac nailpolish and lilac AB beads...
and for lipstick, Wet n Wild A Short Affair 501C (a sheer pale mauve)
and for a matte darker mauve, Will You Be With Me 503C...
 or Light Berry Frost 505A...
which apparently looks like a very cool frosted lilac or pinkish-purple mauve...
and definitely these lilac sunnies...

Lavender nails

Using these lavender / lilac Aurora Borealis beads as inspiration, I mixed up a batch of pale lavender / lilac nailpolish, using chalky while varnish by LA Colors called Energy Source and a deep lavender shade by Wet n Wild called On a Trip, which I topped off with a pink / gold / iridescent hologram glitter top coat by Sally Hansen called Strobe Light. The result is a near perfect match to the lilac AB beads! And apparently, nothing looks cuter with my complexion than a pale shade of purple. And I daresay that Energy Source is a very apt name for this new hue I've created...
I would also team it with this NYX Lip Lingerie Embellishment...
or this LA Colors Lipstick in Sheer Violet...
and this LA Colors Chic Eyeshadow Palette...
using a different exposure, the nailpolish still matches the beads...
comparing other accessories like this light weight pashmina shawl with my nails...
and the lilac beads match this pretty lilac pink shirt and the sakura scarf...
or perhaps this heathered lavender tee...
Even this mauve and plum spacedye cardigan
or this lavender sweatshirt...
these pretty pink mirror lens sunglasses...
and I love the idea of lavender / lilac jeans...
these wisteria jeans are supposedly iridescent...
and indeed up-close they do look quite glittery...
love these lavender jeggings too...

Pastel colorblock jacket
Lavender lilac purple spacedye sweater
Lavender quilted chain strap bag
Lavender stretch denim shorts
these slightly damaged plimsole sneakers that were supposed to be periwinkle and thus a total disappointment, are a perfect match for the new nail polish as well...
yup, a perfect match!
I see myself wearing these lavender sneakers this season...
