Tibetan Cowgirl

I was eyeing this Tibetan necklace ensemble(three pieces) that I'd created and put an outfit together with Tibetan Cowboys in mind...

I have this cowprint vest that worked so well with the cream and black floral skirt...and the pretty Tibetan jade blue-green T-shirt is an obvious match for the look...

I would also team the look with these mint jelly sandals and bangle...

or this pale mint green hoodie...
topped by this seafoam blue-green denim jacket...
these silver and gold leather sandals are Indian and called Kolapuris...they would pair well...
this aqua maxi skirt...
loving this jade floral dress too...
love the peacocks and peonies...
these coral mules...
Sperry Seaport Fina mint green mules
Seafoam mules

these mint wayfarer sunglasses...
these very retro mint blue green marble sunglasses...
and for some bling...
these are really Native American bracelets and a cuff that could also be Tibetan!  The leopard print buckle bracelet is from the 1980's.
and this striking Tibetan turquoise and coral ring.
and on my Wish List, this faux Tibetan Lamb seafoam fur jacket...
but something like this cuddly pale seafoam blue green fur jacket...

Amber lens seafoam green sunglasses...
Grey lens seafoam blue green sunglasses...

And now the genuine article, some Tibetan Cowboys, who are fascinating...

I love the relevance of this pic because it's black and white with a touch of turquoise in color - how very clever!
oh, I think I might have been chanelling them...the green and the necklaces... :-)
oh, I like his carpet saddle and fedora!

Loving: gauzy floral tops

this chiffon top has roses that from this angle look more like camellias! Love the red sparkly dots that make it showy for the evening... Oh that one looks definitely like a camellia...
I wanna wear it with these rose embroidered jeans...
roses even on the butt pocket!
love the embroidery!
this red roses choker necklace...
this barely-there pastel blue, mint and magenta poppy top pairs well with denim...

this little violet purple stretch skirt...

Miista purple holographic shoes...
this mint green, pink and ivory roses choker necklace...

and finally, this cutwork mandarin collar top with embroidered chrysanthemums...
just enjoying Spring!

Summer Scarves...

Scarves in summer? you say...why not?!!!

here are a batik headband(LHS) and a long sash(RHS) that I converted from a small bratop!
I love these gauzy cheesecloth summer scarves! Shown here on an eyelet skirt...
Ikat scarf from the 80's with gold thread going through...
love love love this pink and cocoa striped scarf bought in the 80's...
summer scarves...bring 'em on...

Tropical Summer Wardrobe

more crinkly, gauzy things: this one is a set with coconut shell buttons from India:
the entire ensemble...

shorts in crinkly cheesecloth, tropical fronds print...

Batik wrap-around skirts in mustard, black and cream...
yes, I have TWO of them! they were only a couple of dollars a piece...
blue batik sarong...Garuda birds flying among the flowers...
a Hawaiian wrap top with orchids...
a pareo made in France with Gaughin's Tahitians frolicking about...
a Thai sarong with spirited marlins among the waves...

this pretty coral / salmon pink Hawaiian shirt...
actually this print is quite colourful...
this turquoise blue flamingo shirt...
 with peachy pink flamingos...
or even this pale mint green flamingo shirt...
that just says "tropical vacation" or Miami / Florida all over it...
and this Hawaiian sunset shirt with bright corals...
and how about this vintage floral Hawaiian shirt?
I love the deep red, orange, beige, brown and olive combo...
and even this Indonesian navy and white hibiscus Hawaiian style shirt!
Now I need is a tropical vacation or a pool party to traipse around in these clothes...
