Tibetan Cowgirl

I was eyeing this Tibetan necklace ensemble(three pieces) that I'd created and put an outfit together with Tibetan Cowboys in mind...

I have this cowprint vest that worked so well with the cream and black floral skirt...and the pretty Tibetan jade blue-green T-shirt is an obvious match for the look...

I would also team the look with these mint jelly sandals and bangle...

or this pale mint green hoodie...
topped by this seafoam blue-green denim jacket...
these silver and gold leather sandals are Indian and called Kolapuris...they would pair well...
this aqua maxi skirt...
loving this jade floral dress too...
love the peacocks and peonies...
these coral mules...
Sperry Seaport Fina mint green mules
Seafoam mules

these mint wayfarer sunglasses...
these very retro mint blue green marble sunglasses...
and for some bling...
these are really Native American bracelets and a cuff that could also be Tibetan!  The leopard print buckle bracelet is from the 1980's.
and this striking Tibetan turquoise and coral ring.
and on my Wish List, this faux Tibetan Lamb seafoam fur jacket...
but something like this cuddly pale seafoam blue green fur jacket...

Amber lens seafoam green sunglasses...
Grey lens seafoam blue green sunglasses...

And now the genuine article, some Tibetan Cowboys, who are fascinating...

I love the relevance of this pic because it's black and white with a touch of turquoise in color - how very clever!
oh, I think I might have been chanelling them...the green and the necklaces... :-)
oh, I like his carpet saddle and fedora!

Tropical Foliage Ensemble

It's hot... humid... rained yesterday... and the feeling's TROPICAL... I'm thinking of Indonesia, maybe the Hawaiian Islands... I was able to put this Tropical Foliage Ensemble together...

A very looong crinkly cheesecloth vest worn over a black and white striped slinky tank. The vest is loose, with side slits, to literally hang over the bright, tropical wrap-around skirt...a couple of Oriental themed necklaces, with a jadeite Buddha pendant...
detail of the tropical foliage of the wrap-around sarong skirt...
and here are the necklaces made by me during my many tinkering with trinkets moments...
the red tropical foliage skirt would also team well with this yellow denim jacket...

Rainbow Vest Remix...

amazing how you've got odds and ends lying around, maybe tucked away deep in the recesses of your closet somewhere and then BOOM, it all comes together...as if by magic...

um, needless to say, you must have an IRON handy for this skirt...

and these rainbow faceted bead hoop earrings I put together inspired by the skirt...
oh, and this hot pink slinky sleeveless top with go great with this ensemble...
