Thinking Halloween

the shops are already decorated with all things Halloween and I'm thinking sugar skulls, rather than just the usual skeletons, vampires and ghouls... This chic little  Dia de los Muertos / Day of the Dead wooden sign, apparently a foot long, in glittery silver, black and red caught my eye...

though this cardboard cutout is more colorful. If the reverse of the wooden sign is blank, I could paint something like this to get into the spirit of things...

And I didn't wanna overdo it with the kitsch of the season but I just couldn't resist this little 2 oz shot glass that could have multiple uses other than knocking back potent spirits - pun intended...
