90's throwback: black and white plaid grunge skirt

In keeping with the monochrome trend -- nothing too glam -- just a simple little black and white plaid skirt with pockets to slouch around in or go thrifting...
I'm wondering if it would be naughty of me not to iron this for the full 90s "grunge" effect...
Black and white Marimekko Unikko blouse
Tropical tiki tie-front blouse
This black, grey and white Marimekko tee
Striped nautical tee
I think it would be perfect with a black lace top
maybe this little floral crop top...
this H&M black crinkle camisole top
maybe this cocoa brown, ivory and black rose choker necklace...

a black and white striped tank top...
 and striped camisole...
 a slinky striped tank top...
this pale blush pink cropped sweatshirt for a neutral pastel pairing...
or even this slinky red, pink, black and white floral cap sleeve top for a bit of colour...
this red roses choker necklace...
this red roses bandana...
and these red roses socks...
GAP black jelly fisherman sandals
Black and white gingham slides
these burgundy oxford shoes...
these pretty pink converse sneakers...
and this white caged bootie
Black hightops hightop sneakers

Loving black, white and silver combos

Here's a combo I put together in black, white and silver, utilizing a silver grey mesh tunic, a sharkbite high-low nautical striped dress that serves as a long tunic top with skinny jeans, and a spotted black and white scarf that I made myself.
the flared high-low hemline will team well with this fitted black and white striped pencil skirt...
or black leggings...
and black skinny jeans...
and these grey skinny jeans...
Superga grey hightops / high top sneakers...
and this white caged bootie...
and here's a closer look at the hi-lo dress...
though not black and white, this is how Clement Chabernaud wears his silvery blue mesh top for Josep Abril.
