Like Columbo

I recently came upon this very retro charming ensemble with a long black floral dress topped off with a linen trench coat that made me think of fin de ciecle styling like this...
Edwardian linen duster / motoring driving coat from around 1910 but also...
Peter Falk in his charming detective role as Lt. Columbo...
back to the coat, it looks great worn open...
though I like how it's casually tied up here...
love the duster length of this coat which for me should be a bit below calf length...
as well as the contrasting darker buttons, and that the sleeves can be casually rolled up...
I would team this vintage calf length brown and ivory polka dot dress...
or even this knee length brown and white polka dot spotted dress...
Squarish retro brown tortoiseshell sunglasses
Oversized khaki sunglasses
Denim lens sunglasses
Retro round frame tortoiseshell sunglasses
and this knee length brown and white striped dress...
in reality it looks more like  a dark cafe latte, oops I put too much coffee in my coffee!
it also has a faux suede finish and in bright light looks like hot cocoa or mocha coffee...
these retro khaki cateye sunglasses...
and immediately I think of this leopard print fedora hat...
this wrap-over leopard dress to team it with...
this tortoise shell link necklace...
any and all leopard accessories including a chiffon leopard scarf...
these leopard hightop chukka boot sneakers...
but also these snakeskin booties...
I also see this leopard shirt with red pants or black skinny jeans and red scarf under it...
black skinny jeans...
this very vintage looking Hawaiian shirt will be a perfect match...
 these dark red baggy pants...

this red roses / camellia tee...
red skinny jeans...
a nice and neutral black and white striped nautical dress...
black peeptoe booties...
though a cocoa duster or trench coat can look pretty chic with blue jeans and a dark blue top...
so definitely this blue linen tee...
and these tortoiseshell blue lens sunglasses...
and I like this denim culottes ensemble as well...
And here's Columbo with his famous "just one more thing" just when he's deemed clueless...
